Sharleen Velazquez: I don't find a need to vote.
Honestly, I don’t find a need to vote. Voting is your permanent decision, a once in a lifetime deal. In my mind I ask myself, what’s the whole point of voting if you don’t know what to expect afterwards? For example, in the debates, the person you’re voting for says one thing but after they win the votes they needed, they change their plans from what they promised. It get you thinking:
“Wait… What’s going on? This isn’t what we were promised.”
It may seem like I’m saying it matters, but really it doesn’t. Everyone has their rights, that shouldn’t be taken away no matter what.
