I want to work in HR

Ever since I was a kid, I've dreamt about becoming a teacher, and I still dream about it now. Teaching little kids, to sing and laugh with them and to enjoy every moment with those innocent minds.

But my luck changed.

I am currently taking up Human Resource Development Management. It was really hard to enjoy my course at first, since this was not my first choice, but after my internship and after I had the chance to experience what it is like to be on the Human Resource department (HR), I realized that this was an exciting job!

My internship taught me that there's still so much more to learn. Most people think that being an HR is about recruiting and hiring only, but this is a misconception, because truth be told, being an HR can be tough. Every employee who works in a company or establishment depends on how the HR uses their planning, staffing, organizing, directing and controlling skills, they should be good at analyzing and evaluating people also.

I am willing to learn more and pursue this course. Who knows? I might become an HR manager or better yet, an HR director.

I still want to become a teacher someday because this is what I love to do. I want to teach the kids from the rural areas and would also like to join immersions and serve other people.

My name is Angeline Cenita, a teacher by heart, HR in the making....
